Complete the Five Pillars of Islam Children's Storybook.
Remember the Characteristics of the Five Pillars of Islam.
Present their children's storybooks to their peers.
Day 2, Part 2 - Continued from yesterday's lesson
Step 1: Mrs. Silver will ask students to take out what they were able to complete of their 5 Pillars of Islam Storybook. She will tell students that they have the first hour to continue to work on and complete their books. Once the hour is up, Mrs. Silver will assign partners to share their book with another set of partners. Opposing partners will listen to and peer grade the presenting partners book using the rubric that Mrs. Silver created and handed out, during class, the day before. Mrs. Silver will ask students if they have any questions regarding what they have been asked to do before they get started.
Step 2: After an hour has passed Mrs. Silver will ask students to clear their desks and complete a pop quiz. The quiz will not take more than 10 minutes to complete. Once she has collected the pop quiz, she will begin the partner peer grading of storybooks. Students will have 10 minutes each to present and be graded. This will take the remainder of class.
