I Want Students to:

  1. Know the key inventions of the Industrial Revolution.

  2. Understand and explain the significance of the new inventions on the political and social structures of Europe.

  3. Complete an Inventions of the Industrialization Revolutions Foldable.


Lesson for the day:


Step 1: Mrs. Silver will pass out the project instruction handout. Next, she will call students up by rows to select 4 colors of half sheet papers that they would like to use to create their foldable. Mrs. Silver will explain and demonstrate how to fold the papers to create their foldable. She will explain to students that they will be creating a foldable for the Inventions of the Industrial Revolution. Students will research, using their devices, information for each invention and record information in their books. They will either cut out or draw each invention and use as a picture on the page for the corresponding invention. Students will follow the directions in the handout for how they are to complete the foldable. The handout has step by step directions for each page.





This project will take the entire class time to complete.
